Holistic Cancer Care Course
Holistic Cancer Care Course
From: $64.50 / month
When Founder Marlene Adelmann received her cancer diagnosis, she was shocked at how difficult it was to find trusted, research-backed information for holistic cancer support. Traditional cancer treatments are explained at every major hospital, but what about supportive herbs and mushrooms? Nutritional considerations? Mindfulness practices to help manage the new influx of stress? Where’s the heartfelt advice for how to ask your doctor about holistic options or navigate working with multiple practitioners? Information related to holistic cancer care is hard to find, and it’s unfortunately even harder to know whom to trust.
In honor of Marlene and her newfound friends in the cancer community, we’ve combined clinically backed research with thoughtful guidance from holistic cancer practitioners and doctors, integrative nutritionists, experienced clinical herbalists, and compassionate caregivers so you can replace research with rest. Take a deep, reassuring breath knowing that you have a robust collection of holistic cancer resources in one easy-to-access location.
This online, self-paced course is designed for learners of all skill levels and is thoughtfully infused with clinical research, time-tested herbal recipes, videos with medical professionals and holistic cancer experts, beautifully illustrated charts, helpful downloads, and more. No matter where you are on this difficult road, there is hope and you are not alone.
We want to make sure that as many people as possible have access to the Holistic Cancer Care Course, which is why we are offering a sliding scale payment option! While we’d love to offer it for free (please opt in to our free Held in Hope Cancer Series), the reality is that it’s very costly to create programs like this and to keep our organization up and running. Sliding scale payment allows more people to access this program who wouldn’t otherwise be able to, because costs are balanced by those who have the resources to pay at the higher end of the scale. Sliding scale payment is available to everyone, no questions asked—it’s up to you to determine what feels fair and accessible to you. If you’re not sure, check out this graphic by Alexis J. Cunningfolk to help you understand the intention behind the sliding scale.
Description
There are so many more moments to a cancer diagnosis than the hours spent in treatment, moments that leave many patients – and their loved ones – feeling scared and out of control. With this heartfelt, holistically minded course, we hope to help you transition these moments from fear to focus, from exhaustion to empowerment.
Rest, nourishment, herbs, mindfulness, hope, and community are powerful allies that cancer patients and caregivers can call on, even during the hardest of times.
Our intention for the Holistic Cancer Care Course is to provide you with well-researched, up-to-date information so you can make informed decisions. We do not recommend that you replace your approved treatment options with alternative therapies. Instead, we present options that you can use to further nourish your body and spirit in conjunction with the treatment plan that you and your experienced medical team have selected.
I have finished the Holistic Cancer Care course. This course helped me so much through my cancer journey, not only to confront that I had it but also to have a purpose to help others in need. Thank you again for all your help. – Sophie
Who is The Holistic Cancer Care Course For?
This course is for anyone who has received a cancer diagnosis of any type, is supporting a loved one throughout their cancer treatment, or is interested in learning more about integrative cancer care options. It’s designed for holistically minded, inquisitive folks who are seeking trusted resources so they can work with their medical team to make informed, empowered decisions based on their own unique circumstances. It’s for information seekers of all skill levels and backgrounds – you do not need to have a background in herbalism or clinical experience to gain insights from the concepts, recipes, and tips shared throughout.
The information presented in this course is designed to complement and support the cancer treatment that you and your medical team select, not replace it.
This Course is NOT for you if …
The Holistic Cancer Care Course is not a good fit for you if you’re looking for recommendations about how to replace your medical team’s recommended treatment options with alternative therapies.
Rather than providing specific recommendations, our program gives individuals an understanding of the ways that herbs and nutrition can be used, with guidance, throughout cancer treatment, and we aim to empower individuals to communicate confidently with their medical team about using herbs and supplements alongside conventional treatment.
