See The Flowers

I often have to pause and ask myself, what are my eyes fixed upon? It is usually a pretty straightforward answer. Being a doer, a go-getter and a goal-setter I frequently find myself consumed by my work and the DIY projects that surround my lifestyle. I have goals and dreams, and they are big, and they take over my life!

In order to really enjoy the big picture, don’t you also have to enjoy the daily adventure and the things that are in it? Sometimes the mundane and simple get brushed aside, like my family, friends and the beautiful creation that surrounds me. Today I choose to focus on those things. I choose to live my journey.

I love this quote by Albert Schweitzer, “In the hopes of reaching the moon men fail to see the flowers that blossom at their feet.” May it challenge us to enjoy the adventure while pursuing our dreams.
