A Love for Its Blossoms

This recipe is inspired by the beautiful puffs of blossom from the mimosa tree, Albizia julibrissin. Known as the tree of happiness, mimosa blossoms and bark have an uplifting action, helping to ease constriction over the heart. Albizia julibrissin is a fast growing non-native tree, so overharvesting of blossoms is not a major concern. These showy pompom-like flowers resemble little pink fireworks and are sure to add a festive feeling to your Herbalist Day!
