Biography

Jessica spent many years in higher education as an award-winning scholar and university lecturer and is now to be found, more often than not, in the gardens and fields of France. Her formal herbal path incorporates an M.A. thesis in ancient botanical history; community herbalism and herbal wellness coaching programs with Maia Toll in the United States; an herbalism apprenticeship with the founders of the Scottish School of Herbalism in Scotland; and clinical herbalism and naturopathic studies at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in Dublin, Ireland.
