Warming Herbs Tea Towels (Set of 2)

Warming Herbs Tea Towels (Set of 2)

$29.99

This set of two (2) 100% cotton tea towels features warming herbs, their properties, and culinary pairings. Warming herbs are wonderful choices during cold weather because they help to stimulate circulation, invigorate the body, and fuel your digestive fire.

These lovely linens are exclusive Herbal Academy designs that are single sided and screen printed with care. You can use them as a functional reference chart in your kitchen or apothecary during colder months – or you can share them as a thoughtful gift for the herbalist or foodie in your life.

The Warming Herbs and Their Pairings towel features larger botanical illustrations of 12 warming culinary herbs, including thyme, ginger, peppercorn, oregano, and garlic. Next to each illustration is the plant’s common name and binomial, along with a short list of other herbs and spices that it pairs well with. For example, cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum, C. cassia) pairs well with apples, cardamom, chocolate, ginger and grains!

The Warming Herbs and Their Properties towel features a slightly more extensive list of 14 warming herbs, framed within a border of lovely black-and-white botanical illustrations. For each warming herb, we’ve included its common name, binomial, the part of the plant used, and the plant’s beneficial herbal actions. For example, anise (Pimpinella anisum) seed is antispasmodic, digestive, and expectorant.

When used together, these soft and lightweight tea towels will help you craft warming herbal recipes that are not only delicious – but also support your health!
