Inside The Herbarium Membership!
Welcome to The Herbarium — a membership site for herbalists! Inside this space, you will find a collection of herbal monographs, photographs, articles, videos, tutorials, teaching charts, and more. These resources are available here in an effort to share herbal wisdom, discoveries, lessons, and beauty that will enrich this life-long journey into herbalism.
Inside The Herbarium
One of the first things you’ll find when you log in to The Herbarium is a collection of our newest library resources, monographs, and herbal intensives. You will find new resources, written by experts from around the world, added each month.
Let’s look at some of these resources below!
Herbal Monographs
Our herbal monographs are one of the most popular features on The Herbarium. With over 127 herbal monographs to choose from, there is plenty of herbal information to help you with your herbal study and research, or simply to help you get to know a plant better.
Our monographs are laid out in an easy-to-read format and include plant names, descriptions, cultivation and harvest information, parts used, common preparations, tastes and energetics, uses, research findings, and more.
Herbal Intensives
Herbal Intensives are one of the newest features in The Herbarium. These intensives are exactly as they sound — short, detailed classes, taught by experienced herbalists, on specific topics. Each intensive is a combination of written and video information and spans 3-4 lessons.
Currently, you will find two intensives — one on managing stress in clinical practice and another on managing polycystic ovarian syndrome.
The Library
In our library, you’ll find articles, videos, podcasts, media downloads, and a list of our favorite herbal books — all to help you grow in your herbal journey.
Our articles will teach you about a variety of different topics such as how herbalism is practiced in various cultures, how to approach specific conditions as a clinical herbalist, how herbs can help support body systems, how essential oils work in the body, which herbs can be harvested during winter, and many, many more.
You can find podcasts about individual plants or interviews with herbalists to help grow your herbal knowledge.
Media downloads, such as full e-books, digital magazines, and herb guides, are offered to Herbarium members at no extra cost.
You will find videos on topics like herbs for specific health conditions, how to grow plants, and human and plant relationships.
You’ll also find a comprehensive list of books upon books inside the Herbal Bookshelf — each with descriptions, book ratings, topic categories, suggested skill levels, author information, and where you can purchase them. This is a great resource if you’re looking for suggestions for a book on a specific topic, skill level, or by a certain author.
