Biography

Spencre L.R. McGowan is an herbalist and fiber artist from New England. In 2013 she graduated from the California School of Herbal Studies in Sonoma County and has since returned to her native northern land alongside the Atlantic. For the last year, Spencre has been teaching herbal workshops around New England, stitched some books and delved deeper into her practice as an herbalist. She can often be found brewing something up in the kitchen, wandering around the forest or dreaming up the latest recipe for her blog Gingertooth & Twine.
