Biography

Sarah Arch fell into the world of plant dyeing when she discovered a plant dye workshop hosted in an artist studio of Bushwick, NY seven years ago. Immediately after, she found herself a few dye pots and never looked back. Sarah spent her first few years as a plant dyer absorbing information as both a workshop student and assistant. When she moved to California, she co-founded Rooted Botanics, a plant dye vintage brand. While Sarah has branched off to host her own plant dye workshops under a new name, Summerland Vintage, she has also been working on a line of plant dye supportive apothecary items.
