Biography

Safiyyah is a community herbalist, writer, and yoga teacher passionate about plants, people, and balanced living. Her first job at a natural health store sent her off on a course of lifelong herbal study, leading her to train under a 5th generation herbalist, complete several herbal study programs—including Herbal Academy's Intermediate Herbal Course, run a small-batch botanical product shop, and host both virtual and in-person herbalism workshops for a variety of audiences. She enjoys writing about plants, forest bathing, and supporting people in tending to their nervous systems through her community wellbeing project, Soft Even Still. Safiyyah holds a BA in Anthropology and brings her years of experience leading marketing efforts for wellness brands to Herbal Academy's communications department.
