Biography

Leya Williams is a natural dyer and creative working with textile crafts and lives in a small cathedral town nestled in a countryside valley in the South East of England. Through foraging locally, Leya draws inspiration from the connections between nature, wellbeing and healing, and art, and is the co-author of Summer of Making: Knit heirlooms using natural dyes. Leya spends her time growing and tending her dye and vegetable garden, connecting with and teaching those lessons from nature to her little one, communing with local wild plant neighbours through foraging and balancing parenting duties with running her small online shop Rowan Lane Fibers where she offers mainly naturally dyed knitting and crafting yarns.
