Biography

Lauren is a clinical herbalist and the Chief Executive Officer of Sacred Vibes, a family-run community-centered herbal business established in 2009. As the daughter of Karen Rose, the founder of Sacred Vibes, she was introduced to the world of herbalism at a very early age. She has spent her life deeply connected to Spirit and Plants. As a young child, she developed a deep interest in learning how herbs support health. At the age of ten, she naturally took interest in utilizing herbs independently to support her own well-being. During her high school years, Lauren spent her summers working at Sacred Vibes' community Herb Shop building her herbal knowledge. With a passion for health and people, Lauren spent her college years working as a Patient Care Technician at the largest teaching hospital in the Capital Region of NY while earning a Bachelor's Degree in Human Biology. After having her first child in 2019, Lauren resumed her work in herbalism. After receiving her son's Autism diagnosis in 2020, she developed a passion for supporting children, adults and parents with ADHD, Autism and Highly Sensitive Individuals with herbalism. She joined Sacred Vibes full-time in 2020 as CEO, working alongside Karen, Lauren assumed the responsibility of leading the vision and operations of the Sacred Vibes, Sacred Spice and Sacred Botanica located in Brooklyn, NY as well as the global online herbal apprenticeship program and Sacred Vibes' Annual Spiritual Herbalism Conference. Lauren remains committed to growing and nurturing Sacred Vibes, practicing spiritual herbalism, building community for BIPOC herbalists and serving as a mentor and educator for small herbal business owners and new herbal brick-and-mortars.
