Biography

Heather is a first year student with Herbal Academy. Through motherhood, she found a calling to be more mindful of what foods, products and practices were done at home. That calling lead her to sign up for one of our introductory courses. From there, she knew she had found that something that had been missing. Studying to be a home herbalist has lit a passion that has blossomed for this budding herbalist. Heather has connected with many other Herbal Academy students through her social media page. This creative outlet has been a vibrant showcase of the methods and recipes learned through her studies. Students and nature enthusiasts come to her page to learn, share and create bonds in this ever growing virtual world. When she isn't studying herbalism, teaching herself photography, or writing for the blog, she's connecting to nature through camping and spending time outdoors with her adorable son. Often caught barefoot and never without flowers, Heather says she will forever be a student of herbalism now.
