Biography

Colleen Bingham Solis is devoted to a life defined by what she finds growing in the soil and fueled by synthesizing these organic components into accessible healing potions for humans. Colleen began developing her first products as a young child, playing in the bathroom with the forgotten bottles of perfume and detergents living in the backs of cupboards. Her first exposure to herbal medicine was amongst jars of bulk tea blends, herbal elixirs and deity statuary as she danced to global beats through the aisles of a small world gift shop in downtown Santa Barbara. In 2010, with a passion for organic skin care, Colleen made her first batch of topical products, signed up for her first herbal studies class and began her Colleen is now a Certified Herbalist, is lead medicine maker and an instructor at The California School of Herbal Studies, is founder of the beauty brand Poppjourney as a product formulator and herbalist.
