Biography

After leaving a rewarding nonprofit career, Annie followed her heart to Vermont where she spent a happy and transformative summer as an intern at the Sage Mountain Botanical Sanctuary, learning plant identification and wildcrafting, and tending the vast sanctuary gardens. She is deeply passionate about mindful living and earth-friendly lifestyles, and strives to help make the world a more humane and habitable place. In 2012, Annie started working at the Herbal Academy, spearheading much of the online course development alongside Marlene, managing the student community forums, and contributing her writing, research, editing, and project coordination skills to HA’s online publications. In addition, her photos of plants, flowers, and food can be found in the online courses, The Herbarium, and the HA blog.
