Biography

Maureen Robertson has been leading Contemplative Plant study and developing an energetic approach to Attuning with Herbs for over 20 years. Her passion of sharing deep encounters with healing plants culminates in The Herbal Path course and Plant studies in Algarve, Portugal and the Herbal Apprenticeship programme she runs in Scotland. Her teaching has taken her to Canada, USA, Ireland, Ecuador & Mallorca and she has worked with inspiring Shamans in Peru, Ecuador and now Portugal. She undertook the 4 year training at the School of Herbal Medicine in the UK, qualifying in 1995 when she became a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists. She was co-founder of the world renowned Scottish School of Herbal Medicine in 1992 which ran BSc and MSc courses in Herbal Medicine until 2010 and now continues with a 1 year Correspondence course and a Herbal Apprenticeship programme on the Isle of Arran. Her new undertaking in Portugal offers weekend plant studies, community gardening activities and one of the biggest gatherings of international herbalists in Portugal via The Herbal Path - a 10 day intensive programme with lots of hands-on experience.
