It’s been done just once before, the 5 Days of Giveaways is back, and this year it’s bigger than ever! As part of this year’s Epic 5 Days of Giveaways, we are opening up awesome prizes each and every day from Monday, July 18th to Friday, July 22th. Here’s what you can look forward to all week long!
Day 1: Monday, 7/18 – 1 year access to The Herbarium

Day 3: Wednesday, 7/20 – Introductory Herbal Course giveaway!
The Introductory Herbal Course is our beginner’s course here at the Academy. It’s a perfect class for anyone who is brand new to herbalism. In this online introductory level course you will learn how to integrate herbs into your daily life as well as how to make herbal preparations and body care products for daily care and common ailments. You’ll learn the medicinal properties of familiar herbs and spices (as well as those not yet familiar to you) and explore their therapeutic uses. The engaging lessons, beautiful presentation, and sound knowledge will delight the learner in you and instill an appreciation for the gifts herbalism has to offer, inspiring your future studies as well.
Begin your journey with the Introductory Herbal Course:
This course is full of all the information you need to set down a firm foundation in herbalism. You will find six units of study filled with thorough, informative lessons that cover herbal basics, common discomforts, kitchen remedies, the nervous system, body care, and how to take a holistic approach to herbalism.
You will also find plenty of inspiring recipes for each unit of study, over 50 herbal monographs, charts and graphs, videos, and ebooks. As part of the course, students enjoy support from teachers and other students in our wonderful Academy community!
The Introductory Herbal Course is priced at $195. Students will have access to the online portion of the program for twelve months. Each of the units and lessons, recipes, charts, and ebooks are available to download and print so students can continue to use these resources even after completion of the course.

Day 4: Thursday, 7/21 – Intermediate Herbal Course giveaway!
Created for students who already have a basic knowledge of herbalism, the Intermediate Herbal Course will help guide those who are ready to delve deeper into the world of herbalism. This course can help you take the next important foundational step on the path towards integrating a holistic, plant-based approach to wellness into your life, as well as to assist you in continuing on with advanced training.

With 10 units of study and 40 in-depth lessons, the bulk of this course walks you through each body system, including alimentary, immune, nervous, cardiovascular, liver, respiratory, and urinary systems, devoting a unit to each to discuss anatomy, physiology, balance, imbalance, herbal support, and appropriate materia medica. During instruction we integrate knowledge of energetics (of both people and herbs), tissue states, and the therapeutic rationale of choosing a particular herb for a particular person and imbalance.
Also included are video tutorials and over 100 recipes for a variety of herbal preparations to help you build your apothecary. Charts, ebooks, herbal monographs, and access to a wonderful, supportive community of students and teachers help give you the knowledge to propel you to the next level of your herbal practice.
The Intermediate Herbal Course is priced at $395. Students will have access to the online portion of the program for two years. Each of the program lessons are available for download and print, so as a student you can use your program as a valuable resource for many years to come.
